The construction products from our partners are dimensioned according to national and international rules of technology, so that the supporting software solutions from our company are used in over 60 countries and more than 30 languages, thereby decisively and sustainably increasing the acceptance and frequency of use of the products.
We assess the products and product ranges of our business partners with a focus on the benefits of a software solution. We engage in an intensive exchange of ideas with our clients and advise on everything from the calculation core to the user interface design, as we are also construction professionals and understand the practical requirements in detail. Our partners then decide on this basis which solution will be preferred and implemented.
In order to meet the ever-increasing demands for software solutions for the timely and high-quality execution of planning and acquisition tasks, the S&P Group decided early on to provide its own software solutions to the market.
Since 1993, the S&P Group has been developing software solutions for all areas of civil engineering on behalf of the international construction industry. Partners include the international construction industry, planners and architects, property developers, housing associations, and construction companies.
In December 2000, due to the significantly increased demand for professional software solutions from the engineering and architecture firm Sahlmann & Partner GbR, S&P Software Consulting + Solutions GmbH was spun off as an independent company within the S&P Group. This new company assumed all consulting and development activities related to customer-specific design software.
While the S&P Group employs over 320 people in total, more than 20 permanent employees, interns, and students are currently developing solutions for the international building products industry within our company.
Our team consists of civil engineers, computer scientists, industrial engineers, mathematicians, and physicists who specialize in the development of application software.
The close connection to the employees of the S&P Group involved in the daily construction planning process, as well as to renowned local colleges and universities, provides the basis for constantly integrating the latest knowledge into our solutions.
